Creativity is so elusive. It reminds me of a butterfly, fluttering along the recesses of my mind and the most inconvenient time. Sometimes, at 2 am when I am in a blanket burrito, fun imaginary will flip through my mind like an artistic slideshow. Or, probing questions..What would the texture of a gas giant be in metal? How do you make metal undulate like a jellyfish? Is RNA fascinating me or filling me with dread? These are concepts that circulate though my mind and inopportune times. Yet, at the bench, I meander. Beauty in the Unexpected

I was walking with my partner around a local, Houston park one morning. It had become our Sunday ritual, going to the park when it was partially empty. There was nothing particularly beautiful about the day. The sky was gray. It was odd mix of cool, but humid. No birds chirping, no dogs in need of pets.
